Arab League meets to discuss Middle East peace process

Arab League foreign ministers held an emergency meeting in Cairo on Monday to discuss the Middle East peace process and preserving Arab national unity.
Egyptian foreign minster Sameh Shoukry said Cairo is working to facilitate Palestinian dialogue for successful reconciliation.
During the opening, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, secretary-general of the Arab League, also spoke saying “every threat to any state is a threat to us all,” and that the “Palestinian issue is the focus of Arab consensus.”
