DUBAI: Oman will reopen mosques for prayers on Nov. 15, with strict measures in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
“The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs said that it will take the appropriate decision regarding the opening of mosques and places of worship, in accordance with the guidelines and precautionary measures it has set,” a ministry statement said.
The decision will depend on new local indicators issued by a supreme committee in charge of examining the mechanism of dealing with the developments and spread of coronavirus.
