CAIRO: Leaders of rival Palestinian factions concluded two days of Egyptian-brokered talks in Cairo on Tuesday.
Fatah and Hamas agreed that elections would go ahead on May 22 as previously announced and that only Palestinian police would secure the elections headquarters in the West Bank and Gaza.
The also agreed to ensure that security services in the West Bank, under the control of the Palestinian Authority, and the Hamas-ruled Gaza strip remained neutral during the elections.
